Hey everyone! It's Blogger #1, Victoria. If not seen before on the home page I am the one who writes in blue, as it is my favorite color. Anyways, I have been horse back riding and owning horses for nearly all my life. . I have tried nearly every discipline known to the equine world; from hunters/eq to jumpers to 3-day eventing to dressage. I have also competed on the western side of the riding world, in barrels, reining, western pleasure etc. My heart lies in the jumper ring though.  I have been a horse racing fan since the age of 7 and have followed it religiously in more recent years.

I have been through a great deal of heartache throughout my riding career loosing my 2 best friends, and having a life changing fall August 2009. I am thankful for every chance I get to be with my horses, and as a 17 year old I am now looking into colleges with programs that deal with horses. My passion and dream is obviously horses, but more importantly horse racing. I wish to be an Off-Track Thoroughbred rehaber when I graduate.

My favorites in racing are Secretariat, Ruffian, Rachel Alexandra, Affirmed, Seabiscuit, Citation, Count Fleet, Harmonious, Damascus, Havre De Grace, Goldikova, Uncle Mo, Life at Ten, Premier Pegasus. Blind Luck, R Heat Lightning, A.P. Indy, Man O' War, Native Dancer, Sunday Silence, Bold Ruler, Foolish Pleasure, Northern Dancer, Curlin, Cicada, Princequillo etc. I can just keep naming them all day!
The Palomino-"Sun of a Gun" aka Gunner. He is a 14 year old Appendix QH with outstanding TB bloodlines coursing through his veins.

Hi!  I guess I should say, I'm Blogger #2, Emily.  And I obviously write in green!  I have been obsessed with horses since I was born, and my obsession just grows stronger everyday.  My horse racing fixation came with Cigar, the 1995/1996 HOTY.  I have loved the sport since him, but what really sealed the deal was Barbaro, 2006 Kentucky Derby champion.  Horse racing is my life, and it consumes my mind all day and night. I know just about every stat about every horse, and I can name all of the Kentucky Derby winners.

My life is not complete without horses, and there is an emptiness inside me without them.  I am a devout Christian and put all of my troubles with the Lord who takes care of me and has shown me horse racing to get over my worries and fears.  I hope to one day become a doctor.  I would also love to own a few racehorses, but my main goal is to rehab them.  I love to watch this beautiful sport succeed, and I am heartbroken when people give it a bad name.

I too have many, many favorite racehorses such as: Zenyatta, Secretariat, Azeri, Tee Wa, Genuine Risk, Winning Colors, War Pass, Dr. Fager, Barbaro, Cigar, Uncle Mo, The Factor, Dialed In, Goldikova, Rachel Alexandra, Smarty Jones, Pluck, Bernardini, Curlin, Citation, Sunday Silence, Seattle Slew, Omaha, Assault, Man O' War, War Admiral, Ruffian, A.P. Indy, Smart Strike, Seabiscuit, Swaps, John Henry, Round Table, Forego, Kelso, Riva Ridge, Equipoise, Affirmed, Premier Pegasus, Blind Luck, St. Trinians, and the list could go on forever, but this will do for now.

I will get a picture up soon, but hang on there for just a bit longer!
